Roscoe is a very loving, strong willed Redbone Coonhound. His training with Sara "Better Beasts" has kept me sane and I love the compliments he gets from people when we are out and about.

Sara offers a variety of training…. we are taking advantage of all of them… my favorite is group training!

Looking forward to our ongoing journey and with a hound dog it will definitely be an adventure!

Sara Peckham, of Better Beasts LLC, is a treasure in the dog training field!!! Her knowledge and understanding of dogs, mixed in with her professionalism and kindness with our “wild child” dog was invaluable! Our dog loves Sara and responded to her teaching quickly, learning skills and responses to commands that we were struggling with on our own. Bonus is Sara’s kind personality, sense of humor, and her coaching as she passed on successful techniques to us, instilling in us confidence in handling our dog. We cannot recommend Sara enough, or give her high enough critiques!

Before working with Sara, I would have said my adopted dog of 3 years didn't *need* training. Now that he's back from his program, I know this was the best thing that's ever happened to the both of us. My beagle/pittie mix, Greyson, was often anxious, unpredictably reactive around other dogs, and a sneaky counter-surfer when I wasn't around. Sara's program and the frequent guidance she's offered while I continue his training has given Grey and I so much confidence in each other. She's taught me how to read his body language and how to effectively communicate the behaviors I need him to follow. If you're used to life with a high-stress pet, I guarantee Sara will quickly get you un-used to it.

Better Beast LLC is by far the best dog training you will ever find!!! I have a Bernie Doodle which was absolutely insane unmanageable and it finally came to the point where either he had to go or I had to spend some money on training I tried a few different trainers and honestly they were a joke my vet recommended Sara who owns Better Beast LLC so I thought I’d give it a try and I must say I was a little skeptical but I really liked her and I could tell she was very much committed to her business so I went for it I did the three week program and when my dog came home I didn’t even know it was the same dog he was happier absolutely well mannered and actually listens to me rather than trying to eat me every time I try to pet him!!!
The great thing is when you get your dog back Sara isn’t done with you as she now trains you on how to keep your dog on the proper path she’s amazing I tell people I think she’s part dog she’s amazing!!
