About Happy Tails Country Club West

Happy Tails Country Club is a social dog daycare and boarding business with two locations in the Asheville area; this is the West location, at 2040 Sand Hill Road Extension in Candler. Its own copy says it has been voted best daycare and boarding facility in Asheville for more than seven years.

The training side

The club publishes a Training and Behavior page with two products of its own. Board to Train folds foundational training and behavior goals into a boarding stay – "Book a stay at Happy Tails and get the ball rolling on your dog's foundational training and behavior goals." Daycare Training works on the same goals during ordinary daycare days, so the dog comes home "better behaved and enriched" each day. Both require a current membership at either location.

Group classes

For classes the club points clients to Canine Cohesion, which runs group classes, workshops and one-to-one behavior, enrichment and training resources at its Cane Creek Road facility. The club is explicit that a Happy Tails membership is not needed to attend those.

The rest of the offer

Daycare, boarding, grooming – which the site calls Spaw – and enrichment make up the remainder, all sold on a membership model with published pricing tables.
