About Crystal Coast Canine LLC

Crystal Coast Canine LLC publishes programs for Jacksonville, New Bern, Wilmington and Camp Lejeune, and states its own delivery setting plainly: "Crystal Coast Canine is owned and operated from our homes", on "just shy of 4 acres" with fenced yards.

What they publish

Their own program list is Puppy Programs, a Puppy Split Program, Board and Train Options, Behavioral Management, Private Lessons and a PSA club. The puppy program is "for fully vaccinated puppies 6 months and under". Board and train is described as personalized attention and guidance during a stay. Behavioral Management is named specifically: "This program is for dogs who's growling, snapping, biting, and or attacking people or other animals." They also state they "offer board and train programs for puppies, basic and advanced obedience".

How the training runs

The site's FAQ states the method: "Crystal Coast Canine practices relationship based balanced training methods… We utilize the electronic collar in our adult programs to help build clear and fair communication." Owner involvement is described as central, with daily updates including pictures, videos and written descriptions during a stay, and a handover lesson of one to four hours at the end depending on the dog and family.

The owner and the club

The About page names Cierra as the owner and describes a decade around dogs, "working professionally as a trainer for a little over 5 years", with experience in both pet dogs and competitive sport dogs. She is described as competing in Protection Sports Association and American Schutzhund, and as co-founder of a PSA and AS club that "hosts weekly training for members of the club as well as hosting sanctioned events for both sports right here in Richlands NC".
