About Sit Means Sit Dog Training of Westchester

Sit Means Sit Dog Training of Westchester works out of 4 Broadway in Valhalla, the address printed on its own site, and it is the most-reviewed business in this directory whose primary product is training – only the Tuckahoe pet resort, which sells boarding and daycare first, carries more Google reviews.

What you can book here

The site sells the full ladder rather than one product. Private lessons and group classes sit at one end; day training, where the dog is worked during the day and goes home at night, sits in the middle; and multi-week board and train sits at the other. Puppy programs are listed separately from the adult obedience track. The stated goal across all of them is off-leash reliability – obedience that holds under distraction rather than only in the living room.

Behavior work

Alongside the obedience programs the site lists behavior modification, aggression and reactivity cases, and Canine Good Citizen preparation. This is a franchise of the national Sit Means Sit brand, and the training vocabulary on the page is the brand's.

Practical notes

Valhalla puts the facility next to the Taconic and the Sprain Brook Parkway, which is why the same operation covers Ardsley, Armonk, Bedford, Bronxville, Chappaqua, Dobbs Ferry and Elmsford on its own service list. The same website and phone number also front a Connecticut listing; that second Google record is held out of this directory as a duplicate of the same business.
