About Bark Busters Home Dog Training of Savannah, GA and Bluffton, SC

What they do

This is a local Bark Busters territory offering in-home dog training, dog behavior training, puppy training and a named dog safety program. The behavior list the page addresses is long and specific: aggression, adjusting to a new home, barking, biting, chewing, destruction, digging, focus and listening, housebreaking, confidence, jumping, leash pulling, marking, new baby preparation, obsessiveness, respecting other pets, running away, separation anxiety and sibling rivalry. A free behavioral quiz is offered for owners unsure where to start.

How they work

The sequence is set out on the page: "We begin training in your home, where your dog feels safest and spends most of their time—this sets the foundation for effective learning. Once clear communication is established, we gradually introduce distractions by training in public settings." The philosophy is framed as root-cause: "helping owners understand and meet their dog's natural needs, addressing behavior at the source—not just the symptoms." Support ranges from basic obedience and puppy work through off-leash control to separation anxiety and aggression, and is backed by the brand's Life of Dog support guarantee.

Who trains

The territory page names James and Michelle Rodriguez as the local owners and operators, says they have worked with dog owners since 2008, describes them as multiple-time Bark Busters National Trainers of the Year, and states that they "exclusively handle all training personally." They are described as veterans of the armed forces.

Where they work

The page gives the coverage as the greater Savannah region, and names Beaufort, Bluffton, Hardeeville, Okatie, Port Royal and Ridgeland across the South Carolina side. A free consultation is the published first step.
