About Nexus K9 Dog Training, Daycare and Boarding Savannah

What they do

Nexus K9 bundles training, daycare and boarding under one roof rather than sending owners to three separate providers. The published program list runs Puppy Head Start (from 8 weeks to 6 months, covering everything "from potty-training to off leash obedience"), Board & Train of three or more weeks, private sessions, enrichment daycare, boarding, and a service dog program aimed at conditions including POTS and autism. The locations page also names obedience training, behavior modification and protection training.

How they work

The site sets out the approach plainly: "we believe in a fair and balanced approach to working with dogs. We use a combination of mainly positive reinforcement along with various training tools depending on your dog's specific needs. All off leash work is done with low level communication based ecollar training, to always insure safety and reliability." Every board-and-train program concludes with a private session in the client's home so the handling transfers back to the family.

Where they work

The business gives its base as the Savannah, GA area and publishes service-area pages for Savannah, Pooler, Rincon, Richmond Hill, Bryan County, Effingham County, Liberty County and Statesboro on the Georgia side, plus Beaufort County, Okatie and Bluffton in South Carolina. Daycare runs on the site's own acreage, and stated hours are 7am to 7pm. A free discovery call is the published first step.
