About G6 K9 Dog Training

What they do

G6 K9 Dog Training runs private board and train programs on a 2-acre property; its site places it in southeast Atlanta, and its address is 3779 Union Church Rd in Stockbridge. Programs are sold by minimum length: a core obedience program (3 weeks minimum) covering sit, down, place, heel, structured leash walking and impulse control; an intermediate program (4 weeks minimum) for off-leash reliability and distraction proofing; an advanced off-leash program (5 weeks minimum); and protection board and train, priced on request.

How it works

The site says it works with a small number of dogs at a time, and its FAQ says a board-and-train dog stays with one of the trainers in their home and travels with them to new environments. E-collar conditioning is part of the intermediate program "if appropriate" and part of the advanced off-leash program. The core program ends with an owner transfer session and includes access to 3 months of Saturday classes.

Who runs it

The site says the business was established in Decatur by Eugene "Gee" Leach in 2020 and describes him as a national-level helper and competitor in the dog sport of IGP.
