About MidMo Dog Training

MidMo Dog Training, which trades as MidMo Dog Center, sits at 1442 Aaron Ct in Jefferson City. Training is the first item in its navigation and the first thing on its home page, with boarding, daycare, grooming and a store alongside it.

Classes and prices

Obedience runs across three levels, and the site says dogs enjoy climbing through them. Agility is taught indoors on what the center describes as a large number of competition-grade obstacles, with three tracks: Sassy Dog Agility, Regular Dog Agility, and an Advanced class by invitation only. Both obedience and agility are $135 for a six-week session, with a second dog at $125. Private lessons are $75 an hour at the center or $95 an hour at the owner's location, with an additional charge beyond 20 miles. A youth class shared with 4-H and SPIN Club is $60 for six weeks, and MidMo Waggers, which requires Level 1 obedience first, is $20. Board and train is arranged through the boarding side of the business.

A published calendar worth noting

The training page lists individual class times by day and week for sessions running into 2027, including specific Level One, Level Two and Level Three slots, a tricks class, and summer workshops in agility, obedience at beginner through open levels, and rally obedience. Very few trainers in mid-Missouri publish that far ahead, which makes planning around a work schedule considerably easier.

Method

The center states plainly that it uses positive reinforcement. Its other pages cover therapy dogs, service dogs, rescues, a grooming school, the MidMo Waggers performance group and a dog show at the MidMo Fair, so the training program is embedded in a broader community operation rather than run as a standalone class list.
