About Eyes On Your Dog

What they offer

Eyes On Your Dog provides dog training in the Myrtle Beach area under the motto 'Where obedience meets fun', and also offers pet grooming.

Who runs it

The site names Duane Newton, a certified dog trainer and behavior specialist who graduated from the Starmark Animal Behavior Center in Hutto, Texas, in March 2017. It says he then worked as head trainer at a boarding and daycare facility in Texas and with Operation Battle Buddies, which trains veterans and their service dogs. He moved to Surfside Beach in 1993 and has returned after years following his wife's Army career.

Approach

He describes himself as a balanced trainer using positive and negative reinforcement, heavy on the positive side with food.
