The program
Its mission is to pair people affected by PTSD, TBIs, MSTs or other physical or mental disabilities with rescue or donated dogs trained as highly qualified service dogs, free of charge to veterans, active duty soldiers, first responders and their special-needs family dependents. Every dog is evaluated by a certified trainer before entering the program. The trainers are volunteers, and the organization runs on donations.
