About Tails-A-Wagn’ Multi Service Pet Care

What they offer

Tails-A-Wagn' is a multi-service pet care facility at 1199 W Country Club Rd in Claremore, with grooming, doggy daycare, lodging and training. Its training page lists classes in basic obedience (sit, stay, leave it, wait, come and loose leash walking), scentwork, tricks, AKC STAR Puppy for puppies under one year, agility, and weave poles.

How the classes work

The training page describes positive, consistent and reward-based techniques. It asks you to bring small, soft treats and a flat buckle collar and leash, and says harnesses and retractable leashes are not used in class unless an instructor says otherwise. Agility classes expect a previous basic obedience class, and a certificate from another facility is accepted. Trick students can be evaluated for AKC trick titles at the end of class, and experienced handlers can rent the agility ring when no class is running.

Who runs it

The about page names Mishelle Hancock as founder and owner and says the business has been building since the year 2000.
