About Woodland University Dog Training
What they offer
Woodland University is the training program of Woodland West Pet Resort, at 9400 S Union Ave in Tulsa. The resort's training page lists three formats: board-and-train bootcamps, weekly drop-off training classes that run from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., and one-on-one lessons with a trainer. The site's bootcamp menu includes puppy and behavioral bootcamps as well as leveled programs, and one program is described as a tailored board and train of at least two weeks that covers leave-it, drop-it, off and other verbal cues.
Who trains
The training page names two lead trainers, Annie Thompson and Isabella White, as AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluators with experience in obedience and behavior modification. The team page lists a trainer with CPDT-KA, AKC CGC Evaluator and Trick Dog Evaluator credentials. These are the business's own claims.
The setting
The resort describes 80 acres with boarding, daycare, grooming and horse boarding, and a veterinary clinic next door. The services page says the training program has been running since 2017.
Good to know
Private lessons are by appointment, and the site says the lesson location is discussed when scheduling. Ask the trainers which program fits your dog before you book.
