About KC Dawgz Dog Training Academy

What they offer

KC Dawgz Dog Training Academy opened this location at 16129 S Lone Elm Rd in Olathe to bring its programs closer to Olathe dog owners. The Olathe page says the same programs and trainers are offered here, and the academy's menu covers board and train, day training, private training, group classes and puppy training.

Programs

Day training lets a dog work with a trainer during the day and go home at night, and a client quoted on the Olathe page describes day training sessions over several weeks covering sit, down, recall, place and heel. Board and train is the academy's intensive program in which the dog stays with the trainers, and puppies must be at least 4 months old to enroll. Puppy group classes add socialization.

How they train

The academy describes itself as a balanced training facility that teaches positive reinforcement alongside how to interrupt unwanted behavior, and says all trainers are AKC certified evaluators.
