About Proper Paws Dog Training LLC

What they offer

Proper Paws Dog Training runs its programs from a studio in the Mission Commons Shopping Center in Arvada and serves Denver and the surrounding areas. It works with puppies that are mouthing or having potty-training trouble through to dogs with dog-to-human and dog-to-dog reactivity.

Classes

In the Life Skills class, dogs spend four hours at the studio once a week with a professional trainer, interacting with other dogs in a structured setting. Puppy socialization classes give puppies an hour with other puppies and unfamiliar people. There is also a basics program for dog and owner, and a program called Grumpy (or Growly) to Great for dogs with behavior challenges. The site says it is happy to design a class if a listed program does not fit.

How they train

The site says it uses only positive reinforcement and never uses or recommends prong, shock, choke or e-collars, force or intimidation.
