About Canine Psychology Center, LLC

What they offer

Canine Psychology Center is a dog training business based in Pine that serves Denver and the surrounding area. The site says it has served the region since 1996, and its training philosophy page names Suzi Schaefers as the trainer, specializing in extreme aggression and severe behavior while working with any dog, age or breed.

Programs

The program menu lists aggression management and rehab for dogs with extreme aggression or severe behavioral issues, basic and advanced obedience from fundamental commands to complex tasks, behavior modification, a boarding school program and a private lesson program. The site advertises senior, military and veteran discounts.

Approach

The home page describes combining behavioral science with humane training methods, prioritizing safety, structure and clear communication. The philosophy page argues that aggression is a state of mind rather than a breed issue, while noting that more powerful breeds can do more damage.
