About Canine Unlimited Dog Training
What they offer
Canine Unlimited Dog Training is a Littleton dog trainer led by Rod, whose site says he began training dogs in 1981 as an Army military police canine handler and spent more than 20 years as a police canine handler and trailer. Its programs are the Great Dog Program, a Foundation program, a Basics program and behavioral training.
Getting started
New clients can book an evaluation and quick-start session: a full evaluation of the dog's behavior and the owner's concerns plus a hands-on introductory session. The site says part of that fee is credited toward a program if the owner continues.
Programs
The Great Dog Program targets pulling on walks, jumping, bolting out the door, reacting to the doorbell and begging, aiming for a dog that comes every time and stays calm at home and around town. It is typically completed in six sessions and includes a year of ongoing support. Behavioral training uses a goal-oriented system with milestones for problems such as house soiling and aggression toward guests or on walks. The site also says Rod has taught obedience classes for Adams County adult education.
