About Dog’s Best Friend

What they offer

Dog's Best Friend is a Carbondale business that began in 2017 as a neighborhood dog walker and, according to its site, has offered certified dog training since 2023. Its services are in-person coaching, virtual coaching and learning walks, and the trainer describes a special interest in dogs struggling with fear, over-reactivity and aggression.

How they train

The site describes assessing the whole dog, helping families understand their dog's behavior and motivations, and balancing humane techniques with realistic training plans. It says there are no quick fixes and that management, training and consistency bring change.
