About Fisker K9 Training

What they offer

Fisker K9 Training aims beyond basic obedience for stability, a dog that knows where to be in the home and out in the world. It offers private lessons for owners who want obedience at a higher level, and a board and train in which dogs with more significant behavior issues get full-time care and training from Katherine in her home. Existing clients can also join pack walks and playgroups.

How they train

After assessing a dog's behavior and needs, training moves out into the environments where the owner wants to spend time, using specific commands, environmental exposure, situational conditioning and play. Its FAQ says it specializes in leash reactivity and can address separation anxiety, aggression toward other dogs and fear-based reactions.

About the trainer

Katherine Fisker says she has over a decade of experience, worked in daycare and boarding facilities, and helped build a behavior program at Tucson's humane society for the rehabilitation and rehoming of adoptable dogs.
