Be the Boss Dog Training is an Eagle Mountain dog training company that works with families throughout Utah County and Salt Lake County. Bethany Faden is the founder and Sidney Faden is co-founder, with a head trainer, several trainers and an operations director on the team. Its motto is "Train the Human, Trust the dog."

Approach

The team describes a balanced, relationship-focused approach built on clear communication, structure and accountability, with customized training plans for each dog. Training happens in real-life settings such as homes, neighborhoods, parks, trails and pet-friendly businesses, so behaviors carry over into everyday situations.

Programs

Private one-on-one sessions cover basic commands and obedience issues. Advanced Obedience includes puppy training, on-leash work and a transitional leash stage. Behavior Essentials addresses basic behavior modification, and the team also works with reactivity, resource guarding, leash aggression and fear-based behavior. Free group training and pack walks help dogs practice around new friends, and every program includes lifetime support.
