The Calm Dog is the dog training business of Tod Olds in Sutherlin, a specialized trainer serving Douglas County since 2018. Tod is a trusted rehabilitation trainer for SPCA International and has extensive training in dog psychology and behavior modification, including formal training from people who were trainers with the Cesar Millan Dog Psychology Center. His goal is to help owners enjoy the furry member of their family, whether a dog has serious behavioral issues or just needs a little basic training.

Services

Services are tailored to each dog and owner. The basics are obedience training, leash training and behavior modification, and Tod also shows owners how best to work with their dog. Owners can ask for help with nipping and biting, lunging and jumping, excessive barking, socialization, tricks and agility, and there is a 5-hour day training option.
