About Parker K9
Farm-based board and train in Days Creek
Parker K9 provides professional dog training in Southern Oregon from a small farm property in Days Creek. Owner and head trainer Scott Parker, a retired Sheriff's Sergeant, competes in the protection sport of French Ring, and he and his dog Fiero advanced to the highest level of the sport in early 2020. His wife Jasmine, a trainer who also runs the front office, spent almost 15 years with a sheriff's office. Parker K9 uses modern, balanced training methods and specializes in obedience training and behavior modification.
Programs and prices
The Basic Puppy Course ($875) is usually a 7-10 day stay covering potty and crate training, food-based engagement to shape obedience fundamentals, and socialization. The Puppy to Adult Training Course ($2,875) adds a 2-week adult obedience stay once the puppy is 6 months or older and includes a remote training collar. The 3 Week Board and Train ($2,675) for dogs 6 months and older builds a solid recall, stay and place commands and heel, with public outings, an E-Collar Technologies ET-300 collar, a raised bed and a slip leash. Dogs train, exercise and play on the 6-acre property and sleep in the house, and owners get photo and video updates and follow-up support for the life of the dog.
