About Your Canine Resource

What they offer

Your Canine Resource is an Olympia business specializing in canine behavior training and nutrition consulting, serving the Olympia, Tumwater and Lacey areas. It is run by Patti Howard, who brings 27 years of hands-on experience and grounds her techniques in behavior modification research and in kindness and consistency.

Services

Work usually begins with a behavior assessment of 30 or 60 minutes, including a remote option, after the owner sends in an assessment form. Services include behavior modification, puppy training and dog nutrition consulting.

Background

Patti co-founded a Washington nonprofit that trains service dogs for people with disabilities and a society that promotes applied research in canine science, and says her service dog experience brings clarity and precision to helping owners train and socialize companion dogs.
