Gundog Basic Training
The Gundog Basic Training program, for dogs six months and older, develops obedience, retrieving skills and "whoa" training, preparing dogs for upland hunting by teaching them to locate birds, hold points and retrieve downed game to hand, with basic water retrieves as weather permits. Most dogs finish in about three months. The program is $750 per month, with special pricing for dogs bought from the kennel; birds are charged separately. Training emphasizes clear communication, progressive challenges and reinforcement, tailored to each dog's drive and temperament.

Each spring and fall the kennel takes part in hunt tests and offers handling for $50 per test on request, with entry fees paid by the owner. Boarding is also available.
