About Elevation Pet Resort

What they offer

Elevation Pet Resort is a veterinarian-owned daycare, boarding and training center on North 3rd Street in Laramie. Its trainers use fear-free, positive reinforcement methods and tailor each program to the dog, whether that is a new puppy learning basic manners, an adolescent with too much enthusiasm or an adult that needs help with focus, leash behavior or over-arousal and reactivity.

Classes and programs

Group classes are kept small and cover puppy socialization and early manners, foundational obedience and leash manners, recall, confidence building, tricks and specialized classes for reactive dogs, plus short workshops on topics such as door manners. Manners Club is an ongoing monthly program of 30-minute sessions for three or four dogs, with a rotating theme such as polite greetings, jumping, impulse control and recall, and dogs can join at any time. Boarding Academy pairs overnight boarding with daily one-on-one training, Day Academy trains dogs during the day and sends them home each evening, and private sessions can take place at the resort or out in everyday settings around Laramie.

Daycare and boarding

The same facility offers dog daycare, boarding suites and bathing, and short training sessions can be added to a boarding stay or a daycare day. New clients start with a welcome form and an evaluation.
