About K9 Role Models
In-home training from Manchester
K9 Role Models is a dog training business based in Manchester, founded and owned by Vannessa A. Denese. She describes working as a Personal Protection and Obedience Dog Trainer for some of the top protection dog agencies in New England and says she has "successfully trained thousands of dogs". She has worked as a dog trainer since 2014, and K9 Role Models was officially established in 2019. Trainers come to clients' homes, and owners are taught the why behind each method.
Programs
The puppy class is a private weekly program for puppies 2 to 3.5 months old covering leash walking, crate training, housebreaking, biting, barking, chewing and jumping. On-leash training teaches loose-leash walking plus sit, lie down, place and wait. Off-leash training runs in three levels, from off-leash control in the home up to advanced work in public. One-week and two-week board and train programs each include a handling class. Behavior modification, human and animal aggression, service training and trick training round out the list, with phone or text support and maintenance sessions after a program ends.
What owners say
One client described K9 Role Models as "a professional business that is dependable, caring and knowledgeable."
