Zoom Room Lakewood is an indoor dog training gym in the Carwood Shopping Center, part of a national franchise. Owners train alongside their dogs in every class, and classes run on a flexible, gym-like schedule rather than fixed six-week sessions.

Classes

Puppies can start as young as 8 weeks in a puppy program that covers sit, down, stay, come and loose-leash walking along with socialization and confidence building in a sanitized indoor space. The obedience program uses a levels system that owners join at any time and advance through as skills are mastered, from foundation behaviors to recall, loose-leash walking, impulse control, polite greetings and calm behavior around distractions. The gym also offers agility, tricks, scent work and social playgroups.

Private training

The location recommends private training for specific challenges such as leash reactivity, separation anxiety or competition preparation. New members start with a short orientation.
