About Withers Dog Training

What they offer

Withers Dog Training is a certified dog trainer who works through private sessions and starts with a free phone consultation. Programs include AKC STAR Puppy training for new puppies, basic obedience and household manners, loose leash walking, behavior modification, and agility and trick training.

Puppies and behavior

Puppy sessions focus on safety, socializing, desensitizing, positive associations and potty training. Behavior work covers common problems such as jumping, excessive barking, chewing, digging, mouthing and separation anxiety, combining exercise with humane reinforcement-based training.

Walking and fun

For dogs that pull, stop or lunge on walks, the trainer teaches loose leash walking with calming exercises before the walk begins. Agility and trick training shape a dog's natural behaviors into tricks and course skills.
