About By Your Side Pet Behavor Consulting LLC

What they offer

By Your Side Pet Behavior Consulting is run by Karen Plescia, an IAABC Certified Cat Behavior Consultant, Associate Certified Dog Behavior Consultant and Certified Professional Dog Trainer. The practice serves Greater Boston, with virtual consultations for clients outside the service area.

Training and behavior work

Karen specializes in shy, under-socialized and fearful dogs and puppies, with dedicated support for dogs dealing with fear, anxiety and trauma-related behaviors. Puppy guidance focuses on proactive plans that build a strong behavioral foundation from day one. The methods are humane, low-stress and backed by science, and since 2018 she has been a member of the ASPCA's national behavior response team.

Cats

Cat behavior is a focus of the practice, from litter box issues to aggression between cats.
