About Kanye Corso Training

Balanced training for big breeds and all dogs

Kanye Corso Training is a dog training and boarding business at 1910 Kings Lane in Alvin. The trainer specializes in balanced methods that combine behavioral and predictive analysis and cites a background in government agencies, law enforcement and canine behaviorism. Large, powerful breeds such as the Cane Corso are a specialty, though all breeds are welcome. The stated goal is a dog you can take anywhere, from Buc-ee's to the park or a patio bar, through structure, socialization and confidence building.

Programs and prices

Options include 2, 3 or 4-week board and train programs, 1-on-1 private sessions at $100 an hour, and behavior modification courses for issues such as furniture chewing, resource guarding and separation anxiety at $2,000 for two weeks, $2,500 for three and $3,000 for four. Private lessons focus on leash, fence, dog-on-dog and dog-on-person reactivity and basic foundations, and often get results in one or two lessons. Puppy training and the Elite K9 Companion Program round out the menu.

Boarding

Trainer-owned boarding includes daily routines and playtime in a private yard, with discounted daycare and emergency boarding coverage for training graduates. A social club and a rescue partnership with Dizzy Dog Rescue are also part of the business.
