Obedience and boarding on Farris Road
Paula's Canine Academy is a Denton obedience training and boarding facility at 4634 Farris Road, established in 1994, with the motto "Where dogs can be dogs." It offers guaranteed obedience training for most breeds of dogs, along with boarding in a dog-friendly environment, and each dog is personally trained by Paula Davis.
The trainer
Paula has over 35 years of experience and is described as a highly respected dog trainer in North Texas, known for her expertise and clear training philosophy. She is a multiple blue ribbon winner in dog shows and has been published for her obedience training skills.
Hours
Drop-off and pick-up run Monday to Saturday 8am-10am and 4pm-6pm, and Sunday 4pm-6pm. Boarding reservations open up to 30 days ahead. Photos of the dogs are posted weekly on Facebook.
