About Sunflower Dog Care

Positive training and dog care in Austin

Sunflower Dog Care is a concierge pet care and positive reinforcement training business in Austin (78744), run by owner and dog trainer Jenna Gallagher. A former early childhood special education teacher, Jenna has lived with and cared for dogs for over 20 years and spent over a decade working, volunteering and training under professionals including Austin Pets Alive, dog behaviorists, a pet nutritionist and Austin-area boarding and training facilities.

Training and care

For new customers, Jenna offers one-on-one video training for leash reactivity. She specializes in dogs that are shy or fearful of people, territorial at home, reactive on leash or pulling, and she is attentive with senior and special-needs dogs. Current customers can book home boarding in a quiet setting with a fenced backyard. New families start by creating a KennelBooker profile and filling out a questionnaire.

What owners say

One client wrote that Jenna "has years of experience with temperamental and aggressive rescues which helped my dog feel safe."
