About Waggie Pet Zone
A veterinarian-owned pet center in College Station
Waggie Pet Zone is a veterinarian owned and operated pet care center at 3227 Rock Prairie Road West in College Station, about 3 miles south of Texas A&M University. Under one roof it offers veterinary wellness care, boarding, playcare and daycare, grooming and training.
Training
Waggie Pet Zone runs several free training classes, including Puppy Pre-K and an Owner's Manual class, to get dogs and owners started. The grounds include a 10,000 sq. ft. agility course used for agility training, practice and competition, a 1 acre play park with splash pools, and a 1000 sq. ft. indoor climate controlled play area. A kids' summer camp in July covers crafts, games and activities about dog training, health and care, with loaner puppies for campers.
What to ask
Ask when the free Puppy Pre-K and Owner's Manual classes meet, what other training programs are offered beyond them, whether agility classes are open to the public, and who teaches. Call (979) 693-9663; tours need no appointment during office hours.
