About Dogs With Jag

Board and train near Buda

Dogs With Jag is a dog training business run by Jagger Scott that serves Buda, Austin, Dripping Springs, Kyle and San Marcos. Jagger brings over nine years of dog training experience, with a background in family personal protection dogs; he previously operated Rising S K9 in East Texas, and has worked as an animal trainer and handler in film and television, including as primary handler for Rufus on Fear the Walking Dead.

Board and Train Journeys

Dogs stay at Jagger's personal home, an air-conditioned, camera-monitored training space limited to four dogs at a time, and train in real-world public places. The 2-Week Journey ($2,595) builds on-leash obedience: sit, down, stay, place, heel, loose leash walking, leave it, door thresholds, impulse control, greetings and recall. The 4-Week ($3,495) adds in-home behaviors such as off, settling and tethering, and the 6-Week ($4,595) adds off-leash e-collar training. Potty training is a 4-week minimum add-on with one slot a month. Every Journey ends with a 2-hour handover lesson and includes lifetime follow-up lessons.

Private lessons

One-on-one lessons with Jagger come with customized homework, and potty training help and pack walks are offered as well.
