The Hound Haven in Santa Clara is committed to science-based, force-free training and does not use methods that cause pain, fear or intimidation. Its owner is a Certified Professional Dog Trainer who trained at the San Francisco SPCA Academy for Dog Trainers and studied separation anxiety work, and lists the CPDT-KA, KPA-CTP and CSAT credentials.

Services

The site covers separation anxiety for dogs that suffer when left home alone, new puppy training, puppy socials and day camp, a group class, private training, and help for reactive dogs that bark, lunge, pull and jump when they see other dogs on leash. It serves the South Bay from Mountain View to San Jose, and remote video or phone consultations and training are available anywhere.
