About NorCal Canine Academy

What they offer

NorCal Canine Academy is a Sacramento training academy that specializes in reactivity and aggression: barking, lunging, dogs that can no longer go anywhere. It opened in 2026 as one of four academies in a group that shares one standard and method.

Approach

The academy explains reactivity as a dog predicting that something bad is about to happen and getting in first; the training changes that prediction. Its manager and trainer has trained dogs for fourteen years and learned behavior modification after adopting a street dog with severe aggression.
