About Grounded Spirit Dog Co

What they offer

Grounded Spirit Dog Co is a family-owned training business based in a real home on three fenced acres in Shingle Springs, where dogs learn around children, resident dogs, a cat and farm animals.

Training

The business works with owners on manners, obedience, daily routines and behavioral challenges, with a plan shaped around the dog's temperament and the family's goals. As skills improve, the challenge is raised with new environments and distractions, and significant time is spent training off the property in public places.

Approach

Only a small number of dogs are taken per cohort, and the whole-dog approach looks at diet, exercise, health and what motivates each dog.
