About Canine Connections Dog Training

The Academy

This is the training site of The Canine Connection, on East Lassen Avenue near the intersection of Cohasset and Lassen in Chico. The Academy was opened to offer modern, positive reinforcement training in Chico, and its programs cover new puppies, adolescent and adult dogs, continuing education such as dog sports and advanced skills, and dogs with fear and anxiety.

Approach

The trainers use positive tools and methods, prevent unwanted behavior through management and reinforce the behavior they want, and do not use prong, choke or shock collars. The business says it will not guarantee results or promise quick fixes for complex behavior problems. Daycare and boarding are offered separately at its Resort on Seville Court.
