About Leader of the Pack

What they offer

Leader of the Pack trains dogs and their owners in Oxnard. Trainer Gina Barr has experience with pet dogs, guide dogs, protection dogs and search and rescue dogs, and looks for the most motivating and effective method for each dog and handler.

Private lessons

Private lessons are recommended before or soon after a new dog arrives, to set house rules, start housebreaking and teach boundaries and place, and for pups too young for a group class. Behavioral issues are best addressed in a private lesson before group work.

Group lessons and board and train

The beginning group class runs eight weeks for dogs 8 months and older, teaching heel, sit, down and come with review weeks before the final. Board and train is also offered.
