About Eastern Sierra Dog Sports

What they offer

Eastern Sierra Dog Sports in Mammoth Lakes teaches with science-based, positive reinforcement methods that "make dog training fun for both ends of the lead." The training philosophy rests on respect and kindness for both the human and the dog, with a focus on clear communication and realistic goals.

Who it helps

The site invites owners who want a stronger, trusting relationship with their dog, who wonder why their dog seems not to hear them, or whose dog barks at strangers or other dogs or seems worried or fearful. Lessons also cover fun activities owners and dogs can do together.

How sessions work

The goal is for a dog to follow requests "out of the joy of being right, not the fear of being wrong," and owners learn to read what their dog is trying to tell them while making their own expectations clear. Contact the trainer through the website or by phone to ask about current sessions.
