What they offer

Perfect Puppy Academy has specialized in puppies for over 20 years, serving the Goleta and Santa Barbara areas with a veterinarian-developed program and a professionally certified instructor.

Puppy classes

A session is five weekly one-hour classes with four to twelve dogs, and the whole family is encouraged to take part. Puppy 1 is for puppies between 10 and 18 weeks and covers exposure to people and other dogs, sit, down, stay, come, walking on leash, leave it, settling and greeting a stranger, plus a soft mouth. Puppy 2 builds on it, and Puppy 3 works on refined manners, impulse control and advanced leash skills, with the last classes out in the community.

Older dogs

Adolescent and adult classes are offered for dogs older than 18 weeks.
