Happy Paws Pet Resort is a family-owned pet resort in Orlando, open since 2009 at 12693 E Colonial Dr on the SR-50 corridor. It serves East Orlando neighborhoods including Waterford Lakes, UCF, Avalon Park, Union Park and Alafaya, and offers dog boarding, dog daycare, cat boarding, grooming and dog training. Reservations are required for all services.

Training and daycare

The resort describes its dog training as reward-based obedience and behavior programs. Daycare costs $37 a day, with packages from 5 days ($160) up to 30 days ($750). A free temperament evaluation comes first, and dogs are grouped by size and temperament. Boarding suites run from $55 to $80 a night, and evaluated, spayed or neutered dogs get all-day supervised play and pool time.

The facility

The property has four synthetic-grass play yards, a natural grass field of nearly one acre, a bone-shaped pool, air-conditioned indoor rooms, an on-site grooming salon and live webcams. It won Best Doggy Daycare, 1st place, in the Orlando Weekly Best of Orlando 2023.
