About K371 Dog Training

Military working dog experience

K371 Dog Training is a Clermont training and boarding business led by Andre and Carla Hill. Lead trainer Andre served 6 years in the United States Marine Corps as a canine explosive detection handler, later trained dogs and handlers as a civilian contractor, and is credited with over 18 years of training experience, specializing in high-drive working dogs. Carla, operations manager and trainer, served 4 years in the U.S. Army as a veterinarian technician with military working dogs.

Approach

K371 says there is no one method to train a dog and believes in training the dog in front of you, with a focus on educating owners.

Programs

Every program starts with a free consultation and assessment. The 21-Day Board & Train is for anxious or nervous dogs and those with reactivity, dog aggression, trauma, human dependency or other behavior problems, covering commands, house manners, leash pressure walking, impulse control and separation anxiety work. The 14-Day Board & Train teaches the basics while the dog lives in a home environment with a trainer, adding potty training, invisible boundaries, off-leash recall and public exposure. Board & train programs include lifetime support. Private lessons are tailored to the family's routine.
