Daycare and training in Vero Beach

A Dog's Life Doggie Daycare and Training Center is a Vero Beach business at 926 9th Way that owner Cindy Wold opened in 2000 as Vero Beach's first dog daycare. Cindy, a registered nurse since 1988, began training dogs in 1992 and has been an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator since 2004. She is a founding member of the Vero Beach Agility Club, has earned over 60 AKC performance titles in obedience, rally, agility and hunting, including 10 agility champion titles, and qualified for the AKC National Agility Championships 12 consecutive years.

Training

Training runs from beginner to advanced and competition levels, taught by trainers with earned titles in AKC performance events. Methods are in game form, using motivational techniques and play, and all family members are encouraged to attend. Special programs include behavior modification, pet nutrition and weight loss counseling, and seminars.

Daycare

The open-play daycare, built around Cindy's "Play With A Purpose" approach, has a 3,000 square foot indoor climate-controlled play area and a large fenced yard, with full and half days. A Meet-N-Greet is required, reserved with a $25 deposit that transfers to the first day. Bathing and nail trims are also offered.
