About Southland K9

Problem dogs welcome

Southland K9 is a dog training business based in Tallahassee (FL 32309) that cites 10+ years of experience and says it works with any age, any breed and any problem under the slogan Train Don't Complain. It specializes in problem dogs that most trainers would turn away and says it has made positive impacts in hundreds of dogs' lives. Its team believes educating owners is just as important as training dogs.

Method

Each training package is custom made using a mix of marker training, free shaping, and classical and operant conditioning. The goal goes beyond obedience to active, free thinking dogs that make their own good decisions and respect their owners as pack leaders and guides.

Programs

Services include dog obedience training, dog board and train, puppy board and train, and aggressive dog rehab training, with online booking. Bookings become non-refundable once 24 hours have passed from the time of booking.

What to ask

Ask about program length and pricing for each board and train option, and where dogs stay during board and train. Calls go to 404-862-6754.
