Morgan's Dog Training is a dog training business at 1326 S Adams Street in Tallahassee, with the tagline Nurturing Human-Animal Bonds Since 2013. Owner and head trainer Morgan Fox writes that she has been training for over 8 years, holds a bachelor's degree in psychology, is a CPDT-KA certified trainer and an AKC CGC evaluator, and says the business is licensed and insured. Co-owner Tyler Fox heads day training and works with high drive dogs, and puppy specialist Mariah Seybold focuses on puppy development.

Method

Morgan describes a training style based on human-canine communication and learning each dog's needs, working primarily with positive reinforcement and building confidence.

Programs

Puppy Programs (6 months and younger) cover potty training, nipping, socialization and basic manners. Basic Manners Programs (6 months and older) cover leash walking, door manners and recall. Behavior Rehab Programs address aggressive tendencies, leash reactivity, resource guarding, past bite incidents, separation anxiety and fear. Day Training drops a dog off for a 2 hour session at the training facility, and the dog goes home each day. Six-week group classes include basic obedience, advanced obedience and CGC, alongside reactive dog classes, follow-up packages for past clients and online courses in Basic Obedience, Puppy 101 and canine enrichment.
