Specialist & MBHC". The trainer is Karli Mueller.

Behavioral counseling — the core service

"I specialize in canine behavioral rehabilitation training, emphasizing that every family receives a

custom program tailored to their unique needs. There is no one-size-fits-all approach. My training

methods are balanced and rooted in practical experience rather than relying solely on book knowledge or

fad techniques."

Experience is stated with a specific population: "With over 28 years of experience, I have dedicated a

significant portion of my time to working with rescue dogs, mill dogs, and feral dogs addressing a wide

range of behavioral issues." The unit of work is the household, not just the dog: "It is crucial to

develop personalized training programs that consider the specific dynamics of both the humans and dogs

within the home."

Other training offered

"In addition to customized canine behavioral rehabilitation, I offer private and group training

sessions for Barn Hunt, Scentwork, Conformation, and puppy starter work." Barn Hunt has its own page

covering "Classes, Clinics, and Trials", and the site publishes a free resource page, "Coach Karli's

Top 10".

Background

"Karli Mueller is a canine behavioral rehabilitation specialist who collaborates closely with breeders,

veterinarians, and rescues to help dogs and their owners build calmer, clearer, and more connected

lives." Her stated philosophy is "that meaningful behavioral change is achieved through trust, clarity,

and consistent communication between dog and handler."

She is also "a second-generation breeder of Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers, with a particular focus on

preserving and developing high-quality Irish import lines."

Developing Dogs With a Purpose

Karli is "the creator of Developing Dogs With a Purpose, a structured raising program established in

2012 to give dogs a strong foundation from the very start. The program supports breeders in raising

thoughtful, emotionally balanced, and purpose-driven dogs through intentional guidance, early

conditioning, and practical daily structure." It is aimed at dogs "destined for performance sports,

therapy work, or a stable family life". The site lists it in the navigation as the "Breeder Raising

Program".

How she works with owners

"Karli's approach with clients centers on education and empowerment. She helps owners understand their

dog's behavior on a deeper level and equips them with practical, applicable tools for everyday life."
