About K-11 Canine Care
Training as part of a full-care facility
K-11 Canine Care operates from a purpose-built facility at 4501 Taylor Lane in Warrensville Heights, open seven days a week. Training is one piece of a broader care offering that also includes daycare, overnight boarding (with daytime daycare included), fitness and agility, and bathing – so it's geared toward owners who want training folded into ongoing daycare or boarding rather than a standalone training consultancy.
Positive methods in a comfortable space
On methodology, the site is clear: "Our experienced trainers will use positive reinforcement techniques to ensure that dogs receive the necessary training in a safe and comfortable environment." That reward-based framing will appeal to owners who prefer a gentle approach. The facility itself is described in inviting terms – black fencing with high ceilings and large ceiling fans indoors, plus outdoor enclosures with artificial grass – suggesting a clean, modern setup.
The site doesn't name an owner or lead trainer, doesn't claim specific certifications, and (with a 2022 copyright) doesn't state how long it has been operating or publish training pricing. For owners in the Warrensville Heights area who value convenience and a positive-reinforcement environment combined with daycare and boarding, K-11 is a practical option; those seeking specialized behavior work should ask about the trainers' experience directly.

Miss Maple and I are now a couple of months into what will be a long and very intentional process, with a strong focus on medical scent work and the public access skills required to work alongside a financial advisor who covers three bank offices. Service dog training is nuanced and layered, especially for medical alert, and Claire treats it that way. She explains the ‘why’ behind everything we do, helps me understand timing and sample collection for scent work, and tailors her approach to accommodate my needs.
I have a demanding career and live with complex medical conditions, so accuracy and sustainability matter. Claire keeps the work steady and sets realistic expectations. Her process feels thoughtful, methodical, and grounded. I have never felt rushed or pressured.
This goes far beyond basic obedience. Claire truly understands the responsibility of training a reliable service dog, and I am incredibly grateful she has been part of this journey from day one.
I understood why they were worried. But I also knew I was not going to give up on her. And that meant I had to take full responsibility – financially, emotionally, and practically – to make our lives safe and sustainable. That meant REAL training and professional help, not wishful thinking or delay. I could not pause my recovery and address the dogs later. Everything had to work seamlessly and simultaneously while I faced a long rehabilitation with a broken body.
Sam at K-11 accepted my dogs immediately during an emergency, without judgment or hesitation, when I truly had no other viable options. What followed over the next several weeks went far beyond boarding or basic training. My dogs were LOVED and cared for like family. And through K-11’s board-and-train program with Claire, Saffron received patient, thoughtful, individualized training and care that changed everything.
Claire recognized what others had missed. Both of my dogs, Saffron and Clover, are deeply sensitive, but Saffron’s size and strength meant that understanding her temperament correctly was critical. The transformation has been profound. My dogs are calmer, more confident, responsive, and genuinely happy. I walk them without fear. They still attend daycare at K-11 because they love it. Most importantly, they are safe, for me, for others, and for themselves.
I trusted K-11, Sam, and Claire with my treasures at a moment when trust was extremely difficult for me. They earned it completely. This is not just a skilled operation, it is an ethical one. If you love your dogs but are overwhelmed, scared, or being told there are no good options left, these are people you can trust.
That said, the real standout has been Claire our dog trainer. She is an exceptional dog trainer who truly knows her craft. She’s taught my puppy so much already, and we’ve seen noticeable progress thanks to her clear, patient, and effective training approach. She does a great job explaining things and tailoring the training to both the dog and owner. Not to mention, she is just fun to be around!
If you’re looking for a high-quality training experience in a professional, clean environment, I would highly recommend working with Claire at K-11 Dog Care Center.
