We’re so grateful for Up N Atom Dog Training! Shaina and Alicia are not only wonderful trainers but also just great humans. They care about not only the dogs they train but the owners as well. My husband and I have learned so much through them, and they’ve made the jump from one dog to two such a smooth and positive experience. The girls (and we!) are better for it! We did the puppy preschool day training for our 5 month old corgi, a group puppy class and the basic day training for our year and a half old corgi and couldn’t be happier with the results. We can’t recommend Up N Atom enough for training!

I can’t recommend Up n Atom dog training enough. I am a lifelong dog owner and adopted a 2 year old reactive dog. The trainers did in a week what we couldn’t do in 9 months. After completing the beginner training we are so pleased with his progress that we decided to go ahead with the intermediate training. Our little guy is excited to arrive each day. We know he is well cared for while here. The staff is very knowledgeable, friendly and great trainers. We leave there feeling well equipped to continue his training at home between sessions and there after! The facility is easily accessible in northeast Ohio as well as extremely clean and well organized. Check out their website for the array of services they provide. And finally, they donate their training services to pets at Euclid animal shelter to enrich their days while they await their forever home. This is the kind of local business that makes our corner of the world a better place!

I seriously can't recommend Shaina enough. I adopted a 2.5 year old shelter dog named Ziggy in January of this year, and quickly noticed some serious leash pulling, lack of obedience, fearfulness, and some reactivity. Signing Ziggy up for the day training program was a life saver! I knew straight away from the consultation that Shaina knew what she was doing when she could easily guide him into a crate when I had been struggling for months to do the same.

The day training program was AMAZING in that not only does she work on obedience, but also exposes the dogs to new environments on lots of fun outings, exercises them, and socializes the dogs safely and responsibly. Within the 4 week program, Ziggy excelled in leash walking (no pulling!!), name recognition, starting understanding recall, and started to be less fearful in new situations! Shaina also made sure to prioritize my concerns about reactivity, by giving Ziggy opportunities to be near other dogs comfortably, and by teaching me new tips and tricks to manage/avoid reactions when we're out. (We can finally walk by other dogs on a narrow trail WITHOUT reactions!!)

Being a first time dog owner, the day training program was an amazing way to get a start on Ziggy's obedience. I am so so happy with everything Shaina has been able to do for him. I really don't know where we'd be without Shaina's help (probably overwhelmed to the max with Ziggy acting like a maniac outside). I'm so happy with Ziggy's progress in the day training program that he will be continuing on with the intermediate program in June! If you've been thinking about getting professional training for your pup, this is the best place to do it!

Where to even begin! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Alicia!!! If you're looking for not only a dog trainer but also an incredible person who will guide you, be honest, encourage and support you, then you need to look no further than right here. I met Alicia many years ago and having not only someone whom I can call a dear friend, but also someone who supports every single aspect of helping us train and understand the mind of a dog is a blessing I never knew we needed. Alicia has helped coach us every step of the way with integrating our new puppy, Daisy, into our home which prexists with a senior dog who has (at times) struggled with some big reactivity and anxiousness. Alicia has taught us ways to be consistent, to remain calm and focused. I always tell her that I think she isn't just training dogs – she's training us humans as well! Alicia opened up our world to a community of support, love, kindness, encouragement and a belief that with consistency, hard work and patience, not only can we learn amazing habits that greatly benefit our dogs but our dogs and other dogs can exist in a world without a heavy weight of anxiety and reactivity. We are so thankful we found Shaina and Up n Atom Dog Training! We started sending our high-energy pointer puppy for board-and-train while we’re out of town, and also for enrichment daycare once a week—and we absolutely love it!

Our pup is full of energy and needs a lot of structure, consistency, and attention, which can be a challenge. Shaina has been a total godsend! From leash walking manners to proper socialization with other dogs, to learning patience and impulse control—Shaina has helped our dog grow so much, all while making the process fun and positive.

We especially appreciate that she really focuses on the fundamentals and builds a strong foundation for long-term success. And the best part? Our dog adores her and her team! She gets so excited every time she realizes we’re heading to Up n Atom—it’s the cutest thing.
