About Dog Training Elite Northeast Ohio Facility
What they offer
This is the Northeast Ohio location of Dog Training Elite, a national franchise, serving the Greater Cleveland metro area. The program menu is broad: obedience training, puppy training, service dog training, therapy dog training, group classes, and a wide set of behavior solutions covering biting, fear, reactiveness, separation anxiety, excessive barking, potty training, destructive chewing, and digging.
Approach and getting started
The site emphasizes building strong, lasting bonds by empowering both owners and dogs, and highlights service-dog training built on 40+ years of brand experience. They market themselves as award-winning and offer a free assessment as the entry point, with phone booking available. As a franchise, methods and specifics follow the national Dog Training Elite system rather than an independent local trainer's personal approach. This is a solid fit for Cleveland-area owners who want a structured, full-spectrum program, particularly those interested in service- or therapy-dog work, and who like starting with a no-cost assessment.

I can say with complete honesty that Northeast Dog Training Elite changed our lives.
I brought them my 4-month-old English Cream Golden Retriever — sweet, loving, and full of classic puppy chaos — and my 2-year-old Frenchie with a strong personality and already well-established habits. I wasn’t sure how training two dogs at such different stages would go… but what they accomplished feels nothing short of extraordinary.
My Golden now has focus, structure, and confidence beyond her age. Loose-leash walking, reliable commands, impulse control, holding “place,” responding immediately when called — the foundation they built at just four months old is incredible. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by puppy energy, I feel proud and excited about the lifelong habits we’re building.
My 2-year-old Frenchie transformed in a way I didn’t think was possible. What once felt like stubbornness and selective listening is now attentiveness and clarity. He responds consistently, understands expectations, and carries himself with a calm confidence that has completely changed our daily life.
But the most powerful part? They didn’t just train my dogs — they trained me.
They taught me how to communicate clearly, how to lead with calm authority, and how to reinforce everything long after the program ended. I feel empowered instead of stressed. Confident instead of frustrated.
And I have to say — every single person there is magical. You can feel that this is not just a job for them — it is truly their calling. The patience, the care, the energy, the way they love and understand dogs… it’s rare. They pour their hearts into what they do, and it shows in every interaction.
The fact that my Golden puppy and my adult Frenchie — with completely different temperaments and a big age gap — are both thriving at the same time speaks volumes about the excellence of this program.
Our home is calmer. Our walks are peaceful. My dogs are incredible. And I am forever grateful.
This experience was priceless. If you are even considering training — do it. It will change your life.
Andrea, Dennis, Kevin, Jimmy, and Toni are amazing. Everyone is so cool, calm, and collective.
On my first day of camp, Andrea saw me struggling just to get Grace to walk through the door. She came out with such confidence and skill and helped me get Grace into the facility. I learned so much in that moment that I knew I made the right decision. We love Andrea!!
Dennis has a gift of distracting me from my anxieties and worries, that were ultimately channeling down to my dog, and affecting her as well. So supportive!!
I love how Kay gave my Grace the extra TLC that she needed.
Kevin, when he wasn’t making me laugh with his sense of humor, helped Grace work on her fear of being around men.
Everyone there is in it for the LOVE of dogs. The tools and knowledge they have given me has allowed me to become the best human I can be for my dog. It’s a journey, and the improvement in Grace’s behavior is seen by family and even my vet. It is comforting to know that DTE will always be there for me if I need them.
Our puppy Luna just graduated from Platinum Elite Training Camp and it has been an incredible experience from the start. We’ve learned so much over the last few weeks from working directly with Andrea, Kevin, Dennis and Geoff. K, Toni and Jimmy were all wonderful. You can really tell the entire team loves dogs and love what they do.
Kevin, Andrea and Dennis truly went above and beyond, they spent so much extra time with us. After camp, Dennis came to the house to help with any struggles we were having with Luna, he met our 4 boys. They all loved him, and having 4 pups in a place together and settled was so nice! He has a gift.
We look forward to continuing Luna’s training and attending Saturday group classes, while also switching gears with our other pups to match this style of training. This is the balance we’ve been looking for, for us and our dogs. 1000/10 recommend.
