Therapy Dog Training in North Metro Atlanta, GA

Three businesses in these towns publish therapy dog work, and only one of them says what it costs or what you end up holding.

Dog Training Elite’s Northeast Atlanta branch runs therapy dog training as one of its five named programs — “Our Atlanta therapy dog training equips dogs with the skills needed to provide comfort and emotional support in various settings.” — starting from a free assessment, with interest-free payment plans and no published price. Service dog training is a separate program there, not the same thing.

Atlanta Dog Trainer lists “Therapy, Emotional Support, and Comfort Dog Training” among the services at its Freemanville Road facility in Alpharetta, grouping three distinct jobs under one heading and publishing no detail on the assessment behind any of them.

Because only one of the three describes an end point, ask the other two which evaluation your dog would be prepared for and who issues it before you commit to a program.
